These classes are structured for ages 3 and 4. The class is a creative movement class using Ballet and Tap. Dancers must be potty trained. Students will learn basic dance skills through simple imagery, locomotors and rhythm patterns. This class will only perform a ballet number in our year end production.
What to wear for Creative Combo: Black or Pink leotard (no skirts attached to leotard), Pink Footed Tights, Black Patent Leather Tap Shoes and Bloch 258G Pink Ballet Shoes (the elastic is already attached). No skirts. Hair in Bun.
What if your child doesn't like it? Since it is a new experience, we always recommend you give your child a month to get acclimated. It generally takes about that much time for all to get acquainted and understand the format. The instructor will be more than happy to talk with you about your child's progress. Our main focus is to provide you and your child with a wonderful first dance experience.
